Actijoy Is Back From CES 2018
This year we also showcased our product at this vibrant tech event at booth #51064 in the area dedicated entirely to start-ups - Eureka Park - Sands.
CES Las Vegas is synonymous with innovation and the latest technology. CES is like a dream come true for every startup that gets to Eureka Park and has the opportunity to present its vision to the world. Everyone who wants to be seen must be there.
Therefore we were incredibly happy that we had a chance to be part of this tech ecosystem and show the world what we do at Actijoy. We created a booth that was fully dog-friendly with the feeling of actually being in a real dog park. Unfortunately, only service dogs were allowed into the show. But, even though only a few were there, many of them stopped at our booth for a little play time.
The aim of being at CES
We've had an amazing year. We’ve had our ups, but also our downs. Throughout the year, however, we worked tirelessly to bring our products to the market. We were announced as being among the top 15 EU startups; we presented our products at TechCrunch Disrupt New York and TechCrunch Disrupt San Francisco; and we participated in an acceleration program in New York. And our efforts have had the desired result - we found a partner/investor from whom we received a $1m investment to help get our product to our fans, customers and all those dog parents who want to actively care for their pets. Thanks to this investment we are able to accelerate production and prepare the product for distribution.
Our aim at CES was to find retail partners in the US. And in that respect, CES was very helpful indeed. Not only did we meet expert members of the public, as well as buyers and wholesale partners, but also great people who gave us tons of feedback on our products, innovative start-ups with whom we can partner in the future, and many more who just stopped by and talked about our product. We really appreciate it!

To wrap up - CES 2018 was an intensive and eye-opening experience for us and we feel happy that we could be part of it. We hope to return to Las Vegas for next year's CES.
